  • Why steel? Steel is very durable, has a high level of stability and remains flexible at the same time. If damaged, steel can almost always be repaired.
  • A good steel frame is hopefully built to last forever.

KC001 Mouflon

This frame is proudly #1 at Kobel Cycles. It was traditionally brazed with lugs. The name “ Mouflon” is derived on the one hand from the used „Muffen“ (engl.: lugs) and on the other hand from the drop bar, which is reminiscent of the horns of a mouflon (wild sheep). The bike was built as a daily commuter bike, with 1×11 drivetrain, hub dynamo, tire clearance up to 42mm, custom front rack and fixed mudguards. This bike will get you through the city quickly and safely.
