KC001 Mouflon

This frame is proudly #1 at Kobel Cycles. It was traditionally brazed with lugs. The name “ Mouflon” is derived on the one hand from the used „Muffen“ (engl.: lugs) and on the other hand from the drop bar, which is reminiscent of the horns of a mouflon (wild sheep). The bike was built as a daily commuter bike, with 1×11 drivetrain, hub dynamo, tire clearance up to 42mm, custom front rack and fixed mudguards. This bike will get you through the city quickly and safely.

KC002 Bikepolo

The first welded frame from Kobel. Admittedly, you can unfortunately see this in the weld seams. I’m all the more pleased that this frame is still in use in the local bike polo club, so that beginners or anyone interested can also play with a suitable bike.

KC004 Fixed Alleycat

Not much needs to be said about the intended use of this bike. The fixed Alleycat is a classic fixie frame with asymmetrical seat stays, which, in addition to the visual highlight, are also intended to provide more stiffness on the drive side. The frame was supplemented with a custom fork (the first from Kobel Cycles) and a frontrack specially built for this bike.

KC005 Mr. Pink

Frame base for a commuter bike. Apart from this incredibly fantastic paintwork, the frame offers space for up to 45mm wide tires, has rack and mudguard mounts, an integrated seat clamp and a disc brake mount.

KC006 The Sloth

The name of this frame is a joke at the expense of a good friend who has been able to call this gravel bike his own for a while now. Fortunately, he and the bike don’t ride anything like you would imagine a sloth would. The frame offers space for up to 50 mm tires for proper gravel and bikepacking tours. The bike can be ridden with both 1×11 and 1×12 drivetrains. There are mounting points for a pannier rack as well as for a 3rd water bottle underneath the down tube. The bottle cage eyelets have been mounted as low as possible to provide space for a large top tube bag even with bottles.

KC007 Randonneur

Classic randonneur frame with integrated brake and gear routing as well as integrated dynamo lighting to achieve the cleanest possible design. In addition to all the relevant mounting points for bottles, mudguards and pannier rack, the frame has a modern flatmount mount so that the bike can be equipped with the latest road gear groups. The bike is currently being ridden with a 2×11 drivetrain.

KC009 Allroad/Gravel

Modern frame geometry meets classic design. This all-road/gravel frame is visually based on the classic road bikes of yesteryear, but a modern geometry is used here, and the bike is also equipped with modern and service-friendly components. Whether as a road bike, gravel bike or commuter bike with mudguards and luggage rack, everything is possible.

KC010 Squirrel - Gravel/Adventure

This gravel bike was awarded the ‘People’s choice’ award at Bespoked 2024 in Dresden.

The bike is designed for short, fun rides as well as for large bikepacking tours with a lot of luggage

With a 70° head tube angle, short stem, long reach and short chainstays, it is very comfortable to ride but still offers a lot of agility off-road. The goal of the long reach was to create a large main frame that offers plenty of space for a large frame bag. For the same reason, the bottle bosses were mounted as low as possible. The optional luggage rack also offers plenty of space for luggage thanks to its additional bosses! Ride one!
